I definitely spent today at a nude beach. It was interesting to say the least.

If you asked me where i'd be now a year ago i wouldn't be able to comphrend it.

The Greatest Story Ever Told

This is by far one of the most important albums to come out this decade. It reeks of excellence. It is the only "concept" album I have ever been able to sit and listen to over and over again. The album as a whole could not be put together better. The artwork is extremely engaging. The lyrics sheet, which usually only has the words and maybe some thank yous, has detailed footnotes for every song. I found it extremely interesting to read the explanations for why these lines exist. I listen to this from start to finish every time I put it on. Definitely check it out.

Let me start my ranting.

Being in this room was the best experience of 2007 for me. Hands down, bar none. I never thought I would get to see this band play live. When I read that they were playing the fest 6 I almost cried with excitement. Everytime I throw their records on I find something I missed before. They were bonerific. Check the full set at www.nationalunderground.org . Join up and help them out however you can. I crewed for them at Harvest of Hope and I can't wait to help them again. Awesome people for sure.

More about myself

I'm 22. I don't have a car. I've had a car for maybe a month since I've had my license before I killed it real good. I'm from Florida but I have a penchant for wandering. I spent last summer in Alaska. I'm spending this summer in Wyoming. I'm a vegetarian. I enjoy going to shows but the last years end up with me going to large festivals like the Fest and Harvest of Hope. Places where bands I love will end up. I'll bitch about Florida a lot, but I love it to death anyway. There is just too much good stuff here. My favorite bands right now are The Lawrence Arms, Latterman, The Hold Steady, Small Brown Bike, and The Mountain Goats. These have been steady listening. I can put these bands on any day and be entirely stoked. The things I listen to on a daily basis can vary greatly though. So Enjoy!
